The 21st century is particularly significant due to the rapid development of modern technologies and the emergence of a fundamentally new hybrid form of communication. In texts transmitted through social networks, emails, or SMS messages, multimodal units are actively used alongside words. In this process, they reflect emotional, pragmatic, and cognitive features and possess specific mechanisms of communicative impact. This article examines some of these types of communicative influence.
