MAIN DIRECTIONS OF STUDENT PERSONALITY DEVELOPMENT

The article provides a theoretical and analytical overview of the main directions of student personality development. The study screened 87 scientific sources published over the last five years (2020–2025), with 14 sources meeting the criteria selected for in-depth analysis. The findings indicate that within the modern educational paradigm, student personality development encompasses six key areas: cognitive, socio-emotional, moral-spiritual, physical and health, career orientation, and digital and media literacy. The analyzed studies confirm a strong interconnection among these areas through the combined use of qualitative and quantitative methods. Special emphasis is placed on the need to integrate these directions into the education system of Uzbekistan in alignment with national values, state reforms, and modern pedagogical technologies. Practical recommendations are directed at school administrators, educators, parents, and education policymakers.
