INSTITUTIONAL TRANSFORMATION OF THE MAHALLA IN THE CONTEXT OF NEW UZBEKISTAN

This article analyzes the process of institutional transformation of the mahalla institution in the context of New Uzbekistan from legal and socio-economic perspectives. In particular, it examines the evolving status of the mahalla within the system of public governance, its normative-legal foundations, the implementation of the “Seven-member” model, the “Online Mahalla” digital platform, and its role in poverty reduction and employment generation, illustrated through the example of Khorezm region.
