COVERAGE OF THE ISSUE OF PUBLIC EDUCATION IN THE CITY OF KOKAND (BASED ON MATERIALS FROM THE NEWSPAPER “TARJIMON”)

This article, based on materials from the newspaper “Tarjimon” published in Bakhchisarai by the founder of Jadidism, the enlightener Ismail Gasprinsky, examines the emergence of Jadid (new-method) schools in Turkestan, particularly in the city of Kokand, as well as their activities, teaching systems, and related issues. The study employs microhistorical, quantitative, systemic, concrete-analytical, and problem-chronological research methods.
