FUNCTIONAL SIGNIFICANCE OF INTERNATIONAL TERM ELEMENTS IN DIAGNOSTIC TERMS

This article analyzes the functional significance of international term elements in diagnostic terminology. It examines the Greco-Latin basis of diagnostic terms, their morphemic structure, and the role of prefixes, roots, and suffixes in meaning formation. Using linguistic examples, the paper reveals the nominative, differentiating, classificatory, systematizing, and communicative functions of international term elements. The research applies descriptive, structural-semantic, and component analysis methods.
