COMPARATIVE-TYPOLOGICAL ANALYSIS OF THE IMAGES OF PERI AND VASILISA THE WISE IN UZBEK AND RUSSIAN FAIRY TALE TRADITIONS

This article presents a comparative-typological analysis of the images of peri in Uzbek fairy tale tradition and Vasilisa the Wise in Russian folk tales.. The analysis reveals typological similarities related to motifs of trials, transformations, and marriage, as well as differences determined by cultural and mythological contexts. The findings confirm the universality of the archetype of the wise magical helper while preserving its national specificity in artistic representation.
