THE FIRST RENAISSANCE IN CENTRAL ASIA: SOCIO-POLITICAL AND CULTURAL FOUNDATIONS

This article analyzes the conquest of Central Asia by the Arab Caliphate in the 8th-9th centuries, the people's struggle for liberation, and the formation of the Samanid state. The author highlights the cultural upsurge during the Islamic Renaissance, the assimilation of ancient Greek philosophical heritage, and the contributions of great scholars such as Al-Farabi, Al-Khwarizmi, and Biruni to world science. Furthermore, the article examines the attitude towards knowledge in the Quran and Hadiths, and the influence of humanistic ideas on the spirituality of that era.
