SOCIO-PHILOSOPHICAL ANALYSIS OF URBANIZATION PROCESSES

This article analyzes the content, essence and socio-philosophical aspects of urbanization processes. The criteria for classifying cities into types, including their functional orientation and population characteristics, are discussed. The role of urbanization in the development of society, its connection with the evolution of statehood, and its impact on cultural and demographic changes are examined based on scientific literature. The current state of urbanization processes in Uzbekistan, existing problems and ways to overcome them are also analyzed. The results of the study indicate the need to study urbanization not only as an economic but also as a socio-cultural phenomenon. The article puts forward theoretical conclusions and practical recommendations.
