THE ROLE OF TERMINOLOGICAL HARMONIZATION RESULTS BASED ON PARALLEL TEXTS IN THE COMPILATION OF MODERN BILINGUAL DICTIONARIES

This article examines the role of terminological harmonization derived from parallel textsin the development of modern bilingual dictionaries. The study focuses on Uzbek and Englishlanguages, analyzing semantic, structural, and functional equivalence of terms. The findingsindicate that parallel corpora significantly enhance the accuracy, contextual adequacy, andstandardization of terminology in bilingual lexicography.
