SEMANTIC AND AESTHETIC POSSIBILITIES OF METAPHORS IN FANTASY TEXTS

This article analyzes the semantic and aesthetic potential of metaphors in fantasy and utopian texts based on linguopoetic and cognitive approaches. The study examines the role of metaphor in constructing the fantastic world, as well as its conceptual and emotional functions and its impact on children's cognition. The results of the analysis demonstrate that metaphor constitutes the semantic core of fantasy texts and serves as a fundamental poetic mechanism in shaping the artistic world.
