EXPRESSION OF SOUL AND CHARACTER: THE ARTISTIC WORLD OF THE DRAMA “YUSUF AND ZULAYHO”

This article analyzes the artistic features of the representation of characters’ inner worlds and personalities in the drama “Yusuf and Zulayho” by Habib Sa’dulla. The study examines the compositional structure of the work, the harmony of poetic and prose speech, internal monologues, stage remarks, and the methods of revealing character psychology through contrasting images. Special attention is paid to the synthesis of classical Eastern literary traditions with elements of modern dramaturgy. The article demonstrates that the combination of romanticism and realism allows for a profound interpretation of the inner world of the characters. The findings reveal the playwright’s high artistic mastery, deep psychologism, and distinctive style in character creation.
