LINGUO-CULTURAL ANALYSIS OF THE CONCEPT OF INDUSTRIOUSNESS IN UZBEK AND ENGLISH PROVERBS

This article presents a linguocultural analysis of proverbs related to the concept of diligence in the English and Uzbek languages. The study reveals, through specific examples, the close relationship between proverbs associated with diligence and the language and culture of both nations. In addition, the article analyzes how national worldview, values, and attitudes toward labor are reflected in these proverbs. The comparative analysis highlights both the common and distinctive features of the English and Uzbek peoples’ perceptions of diligence.
