FUNCTIONAL-SEMANTIC ANALYSIS OF DEICTIC UNITS IN ENGLISH AND UZBEK ECONOMIC DISCOURSE

This article discusses the significance of deictic units in economic discourse and explains how their analysis can help prevent problems arising in the translation process. The common and distinctive features of deictic units in English and Uzbek are substantiated, and each type is described in detail. Through examples, every type of deictic unit is illustrated, while their contextually interpreted meanings are revealed through analysis. The study also highlights the importance of deictic units in achieving a complete understanding of discourse.
