LINGUISTIC FEATURES OF OCCASIONALISMS

This article analyzes the linguistic nature of occasionalisms, their structural and semantic features, and their place in the language and speech system from a scientific and theoretical perspective. The history of the formation of the concept of occasionalism, the stages of its study in Russian and Uzbek linguistics are highlighted, and the views of scientists on this issue are analyzed. Also, the specificity of occasional units to individual authorial speech, expressive and emotional impact, features of contextual meaning formation, and linguopoetic functions are revealed.
