THE ROLE OF EMOTIONAL INTELLIGENCE IN THE PREVENTION AND CORRECTION OF BEHAVIORAL DISORDERS IN STUDENTS

This article discusses the psychological and pedagogical conditions of behavioral disorders observed in students, a theoretical analysis of psychological approaches, and basic information on the role of emotional intelligence in their correction. During our research, the theoretical foundations of the concept of emotional intelligence within educational processes were analyzed. Its components, viewed from a general perspective namely, self-awareness of one's emotions, managing them, enhancing internal motivation, empathy, and developing social skills were studied based on systematic psychological approaches. Additionally, the underlying causes of behavioral disorders in students, such as aggression, impulsivity, the influence of the social environment, and apathy, were specifically analyzed and presented in conjunction with social discussions. The results of the analysis showed that students with developed emotional intelligence have a higher level of resilience to stressful situations.
