PSYCHOLOGICAL AND PEDAGOGICAL CORRECTION OF INTERPERSONAL RELATIONSHIP DISORDERS IN ADOLESCENTS WITH INTELLECTUAL DISABILITIES

The article examines the psychological and pedagogical characteristics of interpersonal relationship disorders in adolescents with intellectual disabilities and substantiates approaches to their correction within special and inclusive education settings. It emphasizes that interpersonal relationships are a crucial factor in the personal development, socialization, and adaptation of students with intellectual impairments. The study analyzes the emotional-volitional, behavioral, and cognitive characteristics of adolescents that influence their interaction with peers and adults. It is noted that adolescents with intellectual disabilities often experience difficulties in understanding social situations, inadequate self-esteem, limited communicative means, increased emotional excitability, and challenges in establishing stable interpersonal relationships. These features frequently lead to conflicts, social isolation, and difficulties in developing collective relationships. The article justifies the effectiveness of group-based psychological and pedagogical interventions aimed at developing communication skills, forming positive behavioral models, correcting the emotional sphere, and enhancing adolescents’ self-awareness. A corrective-developmental program is presented, including игровые methods, role-playing exercises, psychogymnastics, and group discussions. Observation results demonstrate that systematic intervention contributes to improving the emotional climate within the group, developing interaction skills, reducing conflicts, and increasing the level of social adaptation among adolescents with intellectual disabilities.
