FEATURES OF EMOTIONAL INTELLIGENCE DEVELOPMENT IN A BILINGUAL ENVIRONMENT(BASED ON THE EXAMPLE OF STUDENTS)

This article scientifically and pedagogically analyzes the features of emotional intelligence development among students in a bilingual environment. The study examines the influence of a bilingual environment on emotional perception, empathy level, the ability to manage emotions, and communicative competence. In addition, pedagogical factors contributing to the development of emotional intelligence within bilingual education in higher educational institutions were identified and their effectiveness was analyzed. The research findings indicate that students studying in a bilingual environment demonstrate higher levels of emotional awareness, social adaptation, and empathy. The article scientifically explains the interrelationship between bilingualism and emotional intelligence and proposes a conceptual model for the development of emotional intelligence.
