LINGUO-TRANSLATOLOGICAL FEATURES OF TRANSLATING ENGLISH TECHNICAL TERMS INTO UZBEK AND RUSSIAN

This article examines the linguistic and translatological features of translating English technical terms into Uzbek and Russian. It analyzes the semantic accuracy of technical terms, their field-specific relevance, their connection with international terminology, and the problems of choosing appropriate translation equivalents. The study also considers translation techniques such as calquing, transliteration, transcription, descriptive translation, and functional equivalence in technical texts.
