THE MANIFESTATION OF LANGUAGE DEVELOPMENT IN MEDIA TEXTS UNDER THE INFLUENCE OF SOCIOLINGUISTIC FACTORS: A CASE STUDY OF THE UZBEK AND RUSSIAN LANGUAGES

This article analyzes the influence of sociolinguistic factors on language development in modern media texts based on materials from the Uzbek and Russian languages. Globalization, the development of information technologies, social networks, intercultural communication, youth speech, political and social processes contribute to the emergence of new lexical units, abbreviations, neologisms, terms, and stylistic changes in media language. The article examines the close relationship between the language of media texts and the communicative needs of society, its impact on language norms and speech culture, as well as similar and distinctive sociolinguistic processes observed in the Uzbek and Russian languages. The findings indicate that media texts serve as an active sphere of language development, while social factors play an important role in the renewal and functional expansion of linguistic units.
