Abstract
This article examines the literary-aesthetic interpretation of nature and the animal world in Jack London’s “The White Silence” through ecocritical, comparative-typological and hermeneutic approaches. It reveals the poetic function of animal images in expressing human values, empathy and moral responsibility.
