HARMONY OF THE DIDACTIC CONCEPT IN THE FABLE GENRE

This article examines the artistic, aesthetic, and didactic nature of the fable genre, focusing on the harmony between moral-educational ideas and figurative thinking within its structure. Since ancient times, the fable has developed as an important literary form aimed at guiding individuals toward kindness, justice, honesty, diligence, and the ability to draw meaningful life conclusions. Through the symbolic representation of animals, birds, plants, and other allegorical characters, fables reveal various social shortcomings as well as positive and negative traits of human character. The article analyzes the didactic concept of the fable in connection with its concise plot, system of symbolic images, ironic expression, and moral conclusion. Special attention is paid to the influence of fables on the reader’s consciousness, their role in shaping moral views, and their educational potential. The study concludes that artistry and didacticism in the fable genre form an integrated conceptual system that provides both aesthetic pleasure and practical moral lessons for the reader.
