THE DEVELOPMENT OF THEATRE ART AND DRAMATURGY IN NAMANGAN REGION DURING THE YEARS OF INDEPENDENCE

The article, based on a historical and comparative analysis, examines the development of theatrical art and dramaturgy in the Namangan region during the years of independence. It analyses the activities of the Alisher Navoi Regional Musical Drama and Comedy Theatre, state support for the sector and the creative contribution of local playwrights and writers. Using statistical indicators, the dynamics of audience numbers, staged productions and international creative ties are considered.
