SOME SOURCES FOR THE STUDY OF THE POLICY OF THE SOVIET GOVERNMENT IN THE SURKHANDARYA DISTRICT

This article analyzes the scholarly heritage of historians from the Surkhandarya region and examines a number of works that can serve as important sources for studying the history of Surkhandarya. The author provides a detailed analysis of the content of these books, their academic value, their role as historical sources, and their contribution to understanding regional history. In addition, the article discusses methodological aspects of using these works and evaluates their place in modern historiography.
