THE POLICY OF RESETTLING SPECIAL DEPORTEES IN KASHKADARYA (1944–1950)

This article examines the policy of settling special deportees in Kashkadarya region during 1944–1950 based on archival documents. It analyzes the placement of deported populations from Crimea and the Georgian SSR, their provision with housing, food, credit and livestock, as well as their involvement in labor activities. The study reveals the implementation of Soviet deportation policy in Kashkadarya region.
