SINGAPORE’S EXPERIENCE IN ATTRACTING FOREIGN INVESTMENT TO SMALL BUSINESS AND OPPORTUNITIES FOR ITS APPLICATION IN UZBEKISTAN

Abstract:This article analyzes the specific features of Singapore’s experience in attracting foreign investment to small business entities and examines the possibilities of applying this experience in the context of Uzbekistan. The study explores Singapore’s favorable investment environment, simplified business procedures, tax and financial incentive mechanisms, innovation infrastructure, and the integration of small businesses into international value chains. Particular attention is paid to the development of small business in Uzbekistan, the expansion of foreign capital participation, the improvement of investment attractiveness, and the orientation of local entrepreneurial entities toward global markets. The article identifies the adaptable aspects of the Singaporean model for Uzbekistan’s economy and develops practical proposals and recommendations for improving mechanisms to attract foreign investment to small business.
