TEACHING UZBEK LITERATURE TO INTERNATIONAL NON-MAJOR STUDENTS

This article examines the specific characteristics, methodological foundations, and interactive methods of teaching Uzbek literature to foreign students specializing in non-philological fields (medicine, ICT, economics, engineering, etc.). The paper analyzes the rich heritage of Uzbek literature—ranging from folklore, the masterpieces of Alisher Navoiy and Babur, to the Jadid movement and contemporary literature—adapted to the perception and worldview of international students. Furthermore, the effectiveness of comparative analysis, storytelling, and visualization techniques in explaining national literature to foreign learners is thoroughly substantiated.
