A LINGUO-ECOLOGICAL INTERPRETATION OF PHONETIC ASSIMILATION AND DISSIMILATION IN UZBEK MEDIA DISCOURSE

This article analyzes the phenomena of phonetic assimilation and dissimilation observed in Uzbek media discourse from a linguo-ecological perspective. The study examines the phonetic characteristics of linguistic units used in mass media, online publications, television, radio, and social networks. It highlights the influence of assimilation and dissimilation processes on the norms of the literary language, as well as their role in speech culture and communicative effectiveness. In addition, the article investigates non-ecological phonetic phenomena occurring in media discourse, deviations from orthoepic norms, and the factors contributing to their emergence. The findings demonstrate that a linguo-ecological approach plays a significant role in fostering a healthy linguistic environment in the Uzbek media space, strengthening phonetic norms, and enhancing speech culture.
