LINGUISTIC AND LITERARY INTERPRETATION OF INTERTEXTUAL RELATIONS

This article analyzes the linguistic and literary interpretation of intertextual connections in Tohir Malik’s novel “Shaytanat”. The study examines intertextuality as an important phenomenon that enriches the semantic, aesthetic and pragmatic layers of a literary text. Stable expressions, phraseological units, proverbs, folklore elements, religious and educational references, as well as allusions to famous writers are studied as intertextual units. The results of the analysis show that intertextuality in “Shaytanat” serves as an important linguopoetic device for revealing characters, strengthening the national and folk spirit, and expressing hidden meanings, irony and subtext.
