LINGUOCULTURAL FEATURES OF THEONYMS IN THE EPIC “NAVOIY AND GULI”

The article analyzes the linguocultural features of theonyms (names of the deity and sacred names) in the Uzbek folk epic “Navoiy va Guli”. The units drawn from the text — names of the Creator (Xudo, Olloh, Robbim, Iloh, the Sufi “Doʻst”), names of the Prophet and saints (Rasul, Mustafo, Ali, Xizr), and related sacred onyms (Qurʼoni Karim, Bismillo) — are examined in their semantic and cultural aspects, revealing their connection with the religious-irfanic worldview of the people and their stylistic function in the text.
