HISTORICAL COOPERATION BETWEEN THE SHANGHAI COOPERATION ORGANIZATION (SCO) AND THE CENTRAL ASIAN STATES

This article describes the new geopolitical situation in the region after the Central Asian countries gained independence, security issues, border issues, difficulties of economic transition, the needs for foreign policy integration of the states created on the basis of the regional Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO) and its security for the Central Asian states, as well as issues of economics, transport, energy, culture, and it was mentioned that it has become an organization of diplomatic cooperation.
