Abstract

The article analyzes collectivization policy implemented in Karakalpakstan between 1929 and 1937 and its socio-economic and political consequences. The study examines agricultural transformations, formation of collective farms, development of irrigation and industry, and the impact of cultural reforms based on archival sources and local historiography.
