PEDAGOGICAL FOUNDATIONS FOR THE INTERNALIZATION OF NATIONAL VALUES AMONG PRIMARY SCHOOL PUPILS

This article analyzes the pedagogical foundations for the internalization of national values amongprimary school pupils from scientific-theoretical, psychological-didactic, and educational-methodologicalperspectives. The study interprets the transfer of national values into the pupil’s personal experience not asa simple process of providing information or fulfilling external requirements, but as the comprehension ofthe content of values in the child’s consciousness, their emotional acceptance, their testing in socialrelations, and their transformation into norms of everyday behavior. The article highlights the possibilitiesof turning values into an inner need through the age-specific characteristics of primary education, the familyenvironment, lesson content, extracurricular educational activities, oral folk art, national customs, games,and communicative situations.
