TOPOGRAPHIC STRUCTURE AND SPATIAL DISTRIBUTION PATTERNS OF RURAL SETTLEMENTS IN KHOREZM DURING THE EARLY MIDDLE AGES

The article analyzes the topographic structure, formation dynamics, and spatial distribution patterns of rural settlements in the Khorezm oasis during the early Middle Ages (5th–8th centuries). Based on archaeological data, the ratio of fortified castles (koshks), dekhkan estates, and open settlements, as well as their correlation with irrigation networks, is demonstrated through structural tables.
