ON CERTAIN CULTURAL CODES IN THE NOVEL SCORPION FROM THE ALTAR

This article addresses one of the key issues in Uzbek linguistics—the reflection of the national and cultural code in language. The relationship between language and ethnic characteristics, as well as their mutual influence, is examined through Abdulla Qodiriy’s novel Scorpion from the Altar. The linguocultural units found in the novel serve as illustrative material for analyzing national cultural values, worldview, and ethnosemantic features.
