HETEROGENEOUS NATURE OF SPEECH ACTS AND PRAGMATIC FACTORS INFLUENCING THEIR REALIZATION

This article analyzes the heterogeneous nature of speech acts and the pragmatic factors influencing their realization from the perspectives of cognitive linguistics and pragmalinguistics. The relationships among thought, word, speaker, and listener as the main components of the communicative process are explained, and the mechanisms of speech activity are elucidated on the basis of the “thought–word–thought” algorithm.
