NAMES OF CONFECTIONERY PRODUCTS IN THE LEXICAL LAYERS OF THE UZBEK LANGUAGE

The article examines the names of confectionery products, which form a special thematic group within the Uzbek lexicon. Based on dictionaries and scholarly sources, the genetic layers of these lexemes, their lexical-semantic groups, word-formation features and national-cultural semantics are analysed, as well as their place in language development.
