PEDAGOGICAL ASPECTS OF ANALYZING THE ACTIVITIES OF HIGHER EDUCATION INSTITUTIONS FROM THE PERSPECTIVE OF SUSTAINABILITY RANKING INDICATORS

The article examines the pedagogical aspects of analyzing the activities of higher education institutions from the perspective of sustainability ranking indicators using the narrative review method. The study reveals the pedagogical content of specific indicators in the QS World University Rankings: Sustainability, Times Higher Education Impact Rankings 2025, and UI GreenMetric Sustainable University Rankings 2026 systems. According to the results of the analysis, sustainability indicators directly address six pedagogical indicators of higher education activity, namely the enrichment of curricula with sustainability content, research-based teaching, innovative pedagogical technologies, students’ academic integrity, the professional capacity of teaching staff, inclusive leadership, as well as digital literacy and academic ethics. The article also highlights practical directions and possible limitations of integrating sustainability indicators into pedagogical practice in the higher education system.
