The article examines innovative approaches to developing strategic planningmechanisms in vocational education. It argues that a modern vocational education institution can improve quality, employability and competitiveness only when its strategic management is connected with labour-market needs, digital transformation, regional industrial clusters, employer demand and international competency standards. The article substantiates mechanisms such as needs diagnostics, digital monitoring, competency mapping, dual education, scenario forecasting and results-based management.
