METHODOLOGY FOR DEVELOPING STUDENTS' SKILLS IN WORKING WITH INTERNATIONAL ASSESSMENT PROGRAMS THROUGH TEACHING THE COURSE "ASSESSMENT IN EDUCATION"

This article presents methodological approaches to developing students' skills inworking with international educational assessment programs within the courseAssessment in Education. It analyzes the relationship between the course topics and theinternational assessment programs PIRLS, TIMSS, and PISA, and substantiates ways of integrating them into practical classroom activities. The study also introduces innovativeteaching methodologies aimed at developing assessment literacy, as well as students'abilities to analyze, design, and construct international assessment tasks. Furthermore,methodological recommendations are provided for implementing the CompetencyIdentification and Expert Analysis, Two Perspectives, and From Answer to Taskmethodologies in the professional preparation of future primary school teachers.
