A DIDACTIC MODEL FOR TEACHING ENGLISH IN HIGHER EDUCATION BASED ON SIMULATION TECHNOLOGIES

This article analyzes the didactic model of integrating simulation technologies into the English language teaching process at higher medical educational institutions. Within the scope of the study, a comparative analysis was conducted on the effectiveness of traditional and simulation methods in developing the professional and communicative competencies of pediatric students. The results of the pedagogical experiment demonstrated that the use of simulation scenarios, virtual reality, and elements of the Objective Structured Clinical Examination (OSCE) increased the students’ professional language acquisition rate by 13.3%. The findings of the research will serve to improve the methodology for teaching medical English.
