The article examines in detail the approach to national history in Uzbek literature during the period of independence, particularly the artistic and poetic interpretation of Amir Temur and the Timurid era in historical novels and epics. The works of writers such as Muhammad Ali, Nurali Kabul, and Erkin Samandar analyze the truthful, non-idealized, and psychologically profound portrayal of historical figures.
