THE RELATIONSHIP BETWEEN ARTISTIC LANDSCAPE AND PATHOS IN THE UZBEK SHORT STORY

This article examines the artistic landscape as an essential component of the poetics of the Uzbek short story and its role in shaping the pathos of a literary work. It analyzes the psychological, symbolic, compositional, and aesthetic functions of landscape, as well as its significance in revealing the inner world of the characters and conveying the author's artistic intention. Drawing on the works of Uzbek writers, the study demonstrates that natural imagery serves not merely as a narrative background but also as a means of expressing the emotional and axiological content of the text. The article concludes that the interaction between artistic landscape and pathos ensures the ideological and artistic integrity of the literary work while reflecting the distinctive features of the national artistic worldview.
