DEVELOPING DIGITAL MEDIA COMPETENCE IN FUTURE TEACHERS BASED ON IMMERSIVE TECHNOLOGIES

This article analyzes the theoretical and methodological foundations of developing digital media competence in future teachers based on immersive technologies (virtual reality, augmented reality, and mixed reality). In their professional lives, people are exposed to various media, as well as media and social media information in multiple ways. People's daily lives and living environments are changing. The theoretical foundations of media competence and the possibilities of media competence for teachers in a globalized society are discussed based on the experiences gained from media competence practice.
