Abstract
The article substantiates a methodology for organizing university students’ independent learning activities through screencasting technology. A screencast is viewed not merely as a resource for presenting educational content in video format, but as a digital didactic tool that enables students to work at an individual pace, monitor their learning process, complete interactive tasks, analyze their results, and revisit necessary fragments. The study employs methods of analyzing pedagogical and methodological literature, comparison, generalization, didactic modeling, and pedagogical analysis of the functional capabilities of digital tools.
