Abstract

The article systematizes the methodological foundations required for developingpedagogical discourse competence in future foreign language teachers. Systemic, activity-based, sociocultural, dialogic, competency-based, and reflective approaches arecomparatively analyzed, revealing that each addresses a distinct aspect of themethodological framework. As a result, a methodological architecture comprisingontological, epistemological, didactic, and praxeological levels is developed. Thisarchitecture avoids the mechanical enumeration of approaches and demonstrates theinterrelationship between the object of research, the process of knowledge construction, educational content, and practical transformation.
