METHODOLOGICAL FOUNDATIONS FOR SELECTING A RESEARCH DESIGN IN FOREIGN LANGUAGE TEACHING METHODOLOGY

This article analyzes the theoretical and methodological foundations of the conceptof research design, its distinctions from methods of data collection and analysis, as well asthe criteria for selecting an appropriate research design in accordance with the researchquestion and research objectives in foreign language teaching methodology.
