abstract: The article analyzes the history, construction period, architectural structure, and socio-religious significance of the khanaqah of Sheikh Mahdumi Khorezmi located in the historical center of Samarkand. The study examines information related to the life of Sheikh Kamoliddin Husayn Khorezmi and the activities of the Kubrawiya order in the Mawarannahr region. Based on historical sources, it is highlighted that the khanaqah was built in the 16th century and later reconstructed, functioning as a madrasa and social institution. The role of the khanaqah in the historical and cultural heritage of Samarkand is also revealed.
