The article also thoroughly explains the technology of step-by-step formation of social and everyday life competencies, including its personal, cognitive, and activity-based components, while emphasizing the importance of cooperation among teachers, parents, and educators in this process. Special attention is paid to the development of students’ self-care skills, organization of daily household activities, independent functioning in the social environment, and communicative competencies within the process of special correctional education.
