abstract: The article examines the phenomenon of neomythologism in the context of contemporary Russian literature of the late 20th and early 21st centuries. It explores the mechanisms of interaction between classical mythologism and postmodern deconstruction strategies, revealing the specificity of the neomyth as a reflexive and playful structure. Particular attention is paid to the processes of remythologization and demythologization, as well as the role of authorial myth-making in shaping a new artistic reality. The study is based on the theoretical concepts of Yevgeny Meletinsky, Yuri Lotman, Roland Barthes, and Mark Lipovetsky, enabling a comprehensive analysis of the functioning of mythologemes in the works of Andrei Bitov, Tatyana Tolstaya, Anatoly Kim and other authors.
