%X The article examines the phenomenon of spring calendar festivals as a universal cultural occurrence inherent to all peoples of the world. It analyzes the factors that shaped their formation, including natural and climatic conditions, labor activities, and cultural characteristics. Particular attention is given to the genesis and significance of the Navruz holiday, which, rooted in ancient Eastern traditions and Zoroastrianism, demonstrates a profound connection with the astronomical solar calendar and the phenomenon of the equinox. The study explores the historical preconditions for the spread and sacralization of the equinox in various cultures, emphasizing the unique place of Navruz within the global system of spring celebrations. The article proposes a cross-cultural approach to understanding the origins and meanings of spring festivals.
